NTU Curriculum Mapping for Undergraduate Students

The undergraduate teaching objective of our department is to explore plant pathology and microbiology, and to cultivate the next generation of professionals with expertise in these fields. Our course design not only aims to enhance students' fundamental scientific knowledge but also focuses on strengthening practical application skills and understanding the current industry status in related fields.

Undergraduate students are required to complete a minimum of 128 credits for graduation, including: 24 credits in university-wide core courses, 72 credits in required professional courses of our department, 15 credits in departmental elective courses, and 17-21 credits in other elective courses. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be awarded a Bachelor of Science degree.

 

NTU Curriculum Mapping for Master Program

Master's students must choose either "Plant Pathology" or "Microbiology" as their major field of study. Within their chosen field, students are required to complete at least 5 credits (including possible exemptions) from the relevant course group. The Master's program requires a minimum of 24 credits in coursework and 6 credits for the Master's thesis. The program duration is between 2 to 4 years. Upon successful completion and meeting all requirements, students will be awarded a Master of Science degree.

 


NTU Curriculum Mapping for PhD Program

Doctoral students are required to have a foundational knowledge in both "Plant Pathology" and "Microbiology." Within their chosen major field, students must complete at least 5 credits (including possible exemptions) from the relevant course group. The Doctoral program requires a minimum of 18 credits in coursework and 12 credits for the Doctoral thesis. The program duration is between 3 to 7 years. Upon successful completion and meeting all requirements, students will be awarded a Doctor of Philosophy degree.
